Eric Ebron set to visit Bills, Lions, Ravens, Panthers

North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron has at least four NFL teams lined up for visits next month, and the Buffalo Bills will have the first chance of the four to draft him.

The most highly-regarded tight end in the upcoming NFL draft, Ebron is projected to be chosen in mid-first-round range. With explosive athleticism and proven receiving skills, Ebron could be a prized offensive weapon for the Bills' young quarterback, E.J. Manuel. Buffalo holds the No. 9 overall pick in the draft.

"I have my whole month of April lined up. I'll be visiting Buffalo, Detroit, Baltimore, Carolina," Ebron told Pro Football talk Live. "I think that's it. There might be some more, but I can't remember."

Detroit immediately follows Buffalo with the No. 10 overall pick, while Baltimore picks at No. 17. Carolina figures to be in a poor position to acquire Ebron with the No. 28 overall pick, unless the club trades up for a higher first-round choice. Ebron said he has no sense of which club likes him best, but grew up a Giants fan and would love to be chosen by the Giants with the No. 12 overall pick.

Ebron will participate in North Carolina's pro day workout on March 25, but does not plan to run the 40-yard dash again after turning in a time of 4.60 at the NFL Scouting Combine last month, second-best among tight ends.

NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks projects the Bills to take Ebron with the No. 9 pick in his latest mock draft.
