Eagles' Westbrook, Maclin to miss game vs. 49ers

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles will be without running back Brian Westbrook and rookie wide receiver Jeremy Maclin against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Westbrook has missed the last four games and six of the last seven with a concussion.

He practiced on the scout team this week, but the two-time Pro Bowler has not been medically cleared to play in a game. He will undergo another test next week.

Maclin left Sunday's win over the Giants with a torn plantar fascia, tissue at the bottom of his left foot.

Reggie Brown will start for Maclin and veteran Kevin Curtis also will be available. Eagles coach Andy Reid says Maclin may return for the Dec. 27 matchup with Denver.

Reid says tight end Brent Celek is questionable for Sunday but expected to play with back spasms and a sprained thumb.
