Eagles safety Allen suffers first-quarter concussion vs. Bears

Safety Nate Allen left the Philadelphia Eagles' Monday night game against the Chicago Bears with a concussion and didn't return.

Allen, Philadelphia's starting free safety, was injured in the first quarter during a Chicago touchdown drive. Jay Cutler threw a 5-yard TD pass to Matt Spaeth to give the Bears a 7-0 lead.

Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel went to the Eagles' locker room with a groin laceration later in the quarter, but he returned to the game.
