Eagles CB Samuel ruled out for crucial divisional showdown

The Philadelphia Eagles will have to find a way to cover the Cowboys' trio of explosive wideouts without one of their top cornerbacks as Asante Samuel will miss Saturday's game with an injured hamstring.

Samuel hurt his hamstring during the Eagles win over the New York Jets last Sunday, and Eagles coach Andy Reid said Samuel re-aggravated the injury during practice Tuesday. Samuel then sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday, sealing his fate for Saturday's game.

Samuel had started all 14 games this year for the Eagles and has three interceptions.
