Chiefs' Page ends holdout, signs restricted free agent tender

Kansas City Chiefs holdout safety Jarrad Page signed his restricted free-agent tender Friday, and it was delivered to the team, according to a league source.

The Chiefs later confirmed that Page had officially signed with the team.

Page hasn't decided when he will report, but his arrival likely won't come before next week, the source said.

Although the contract has been signed, Page is still requesting a trade, something he has asked for on several occasions, according to the source. The Chiefs can begin fining Page for missed days now that he is under contract.

Page played in just five games last season after a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve.
