Chargers take Michigan C Molk in 7th round

SAN DIEGO (AP) - The San Diego Chargers have selected All-American center David Molk of Michigan in the seventh round of the NFL draft.

Molk won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's best center.

Molk was a four-year starter, although his 2009 season was interrupted first by a broken foot and then a season-ending knee injury.

He'll provide depth behind veteran Nick Hardwick, who signed a new three-year contract in March.
