BYU and Houston will wear American flag-themed helmets when they play Thursday night in Provo, Utah, on the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Other schools wearing patriotic-themed uniforms this week include Maryland and Virginia Tech.

BYU (2-0) moved into the top 25 this week in both the CFB 24/7 Top 25 Power Rankings and the AP Top 25 poll after demolishing Texas in Austin, and Thursday night's contest will be the Cougars' first home game of the season. Two of the nation's top players at their respective positions will be on view in BYU junior quarterback Taysom Hill (6-foot-2, 232 pounds) and Houston junior wide receiver Deontay Greenberry (6-3, 200). Hill finished 10th nationally in total offense last season and currently ranks 16th (342.5 yards per game); he has been responsible for eight touchdowns in the first two games. Greenberry has 11 receptions in two games and is averaging 18.7 yards per catch; he had 82 receptions and 11 TD catches last season, when he averaged 14.7 yards per catch.
