Bucs cut veteran G Vincent, promote Barker from practice squad

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived guard Keydrick Vincent and promoted tackle Will Barker from the practice squad to the active roster.

Vincent is a 10th-year pro who signed with the Bucs as a free agent in July. He started the first five games of the season, then sat out last week's win over St. Louis because of back spasms.

The 32-year-old Vincent was the second oldest player on the roster. Rookie Ted Larsen filled in at left guard last week, and Jeremy Zuttah is another young offensive lineman the Bucs are comfortable with using at the position.

Barker entered the NFL this year as an undrafted free agent with Dallas. He was signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad after being released by the Cowboys.
