Browns sign 14-year veteran wide receiver Engram

Free agent wide receiver Bobby Engram has signed with the Cleveland Browns.

Terms of the deal announced Thursday were not disclosed.

The 37-year-old Engram had five receptions for 61 yards in five games in 2009 with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Engram, a 14-year veteran, was a second-round draft pick of the Chicago  Bears in 1996. He has started 113 of the 176 games he's appeared in during his 14-year NFL career.

Engram reunites with Browns president Mike Holmgren, who coached Engram during his best season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2007, when he had 94 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns.
