Bills lose DBs Florence, Scott to sprained knees in game vs. Bears

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills defensive backs Bryan Scott and Drayton Florence sprained their knees during the first half of Saturday night's preseason game against the Chicago Bears.

The Bills didn't reveal the extent of the players' injuries in announcing that both wouldn't return to the game. Scott is the Bills' starting strong safety, and Florence is a reserve cornerback.

The Bills already were without wide receiver Terrell Owens, who's still nursing a sprained toe.

Bears backup running back Kevin Jones started in place of Matt Forte, who was in uniform along the sideline but didn't play in the first half.
