Bengals sign Jensen to fill out depleted tight end group

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Cincinnati Bengals signed free agent tight end Erik Jensen to a one-year deal Friday, adding depth to their most depleted position.

The Bengals have lost three reserve tight ends to injury since training camp began.

Jensen was a seventh-round pick by St. Louis in 2004 and spent his rookie season on injured reserve. He was on the 49ers and Steelers practice squads in 2005. He didn't play last season after Dallas waived him on Aug. 23.
