Armstrong rejoins team after being taken to hospital

Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong was knocked unconscious Saturday against Ohio State and left the field on a cart, but after a trip to the hospital, he rejoined the Cornhuskers on the sideline before the end of the game.

Armstrong was hurt when he was tackled along the sideline by Ohio State safety Malik Hooker with 6:03 remaining in the first half. He raised a thumb as he was carted off the field, and according to Nebraska officials, he was moving extremities.

Armstrong's head was stabilized before he left the field, but Nebraska posted a video of his return to the sideline later. His playing status remains unclear.
