The long wait is nearly over as football fans are less than two months away from the start of the 2014 college football season. With the season approaching, the presenters of various college football awards have started releasing their "watch lists" for the season.

The Biletnikoff Award, which goes to the nation's top wide receiver, released its watch list Tuesday.

There are 55 players on the list, headed by USC's Nelson Agholor, Alabama's Amari Cooper and Baylor's Antwan Goodley. There is a brother duo on the list in Central Michigan senior Titus Davis and Western Michigan sophomore Corey Davis. Also on the list is South Alabama's Wes Saxton, a 6-foot-4, 240-pounder who also showed up on the watch list for the Mackey Award, which goes to the nation's top tight end. Saxton, who has NFL potential, is listed as a tight end on South Alabama's roster. Oregon State WR Brandin Cooks, a first-round pick of the New Orleans Saints, won the Biletnikoff Award last season.
