Tom Brady once again leads NFL in player sales

All hail Tom Brady, the most quantifiably marketable player in the NFL.

According to the NFLPA's year-end sales list, which combines "overall sales of all licensed products from online and traditional retail outlets," the Patriots quarterback has reclaimed the top spot in all its commercial glory.

The latest numbers, which tracked sales between December 1, 2015-February 29, 2016 showed us a few interesting trends. Via our friends at NFLPA Inc., the most popular football players for kids toys and gear are Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr., Luke Kuechly and Rob Gronkowski.

Peyton Manning still has the bestselling jersey through Nike, with Cam Newton and Von Miller coming in behind him.

And don't worry about Colin Kaepernick, he's doing just fine, too. The 49ers quarterback takes the title for "top seller for player-identified caps from New Era and Lids."

Without further ado, here is the complete list:

Some final observations: Jarryd Hayne is holding on strong. Makes us think about a crossover 49ers/Parramatta Eels jersey and what that might look like. ... It seems like young jersey buyers are playing the long game and sticking with names that might be around for a while, which is encouraging (this coming from a man who almost bought a Lee Suggs jersey). ... Khalil Mack seems like the ultimate buy-low candidate here right?. ... Von Miller surged onto the list for the first time since the NFLPA began tracking the stuff.
