Broncos OLB Elvis Dumervil sacked Eli Manning and forced a fumble that was recovered by Denver with 9:01 left in the fourth quarter. On the ensuing possession, Broncos K Matt Prater kicked his fourth field goal to give Denver a 26-6 lead with 5:05 remaining to put the game away.

Dumervil was a force on a Denver defense that simply dominated the Giants, finishing with three tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. Dumervil now has 14 sacks on the season, and leads the league.

After giving up an average of 168.7 rush yards during their four-game losing streak, the Broncos stymied the Giants and allowed just 57 yards on the ground. It was Denver's second lowest total surrendered this season.
