Cowboys' offense gets back in gear vs. Raiders

It was over when ...

Cowboys QB Tony Romo passed for 309 yards and two touchdowns.

Bruce Gradkowski's pass to Louis Murphy sailed incomplete with 1:54 to play, ensuring there would be no miracle comeback for the Raiders this week. Dallas controlled most of the game and was never in serious trouble.

Game ball

Miles Austin got his groove back. The receiver had disappeared over the past couple weeks as the Cowboys' offense went into a slump, but he caught seven passes for 145 yards and a touchdown as Dallas got things rolling again offensively.

Key Stat

The Cowboys are at their best when they are able to generate big plays on offense. They did that repeatedly against the Raiders, finishing with 8.8 yards per play.

Noteworthy

Romo has never lost on Thanksgiving as a starter. ... Dallas' Anthony Spencer recorded his first two sacks of the year. ... Oakland's Darrius Heyward-Bey scored his first career touchdown. ... The Raiders' Trevor Scott tied a career-high with two sacks.
