Giants squander lead to drop fourth straight game

Vincent Jackson caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers, giving the Chargers a 21-20 advantage with 21 seconds remaining.

Game ball

Jackson's grab in the end zone sealed the game for the Chargers, but he also opened the scoring for the visiting team. He hauled in a 10-yard TD pass in the second quarter that gave San Diego a 7-0 lead and finished with five receptions for 58 yards. He has scored a touchdown in four straight games.

Key Stat

The Giants began the game with a penalty on the opening kickoff and were flagged eight more times for 104 yards. The Chargers were penalized just three times for 20 yards.
