The Giants had the No. 1 overall defense and the best pass defense entering the game. That meant nothing to Saints QB Drew Brees, who completed 15 straight passes at one point in the first half and repeatedly found seams in the Giants' secondary en route to a 369-yard, four-touchdown performance.

The Giants' last three opponents before Sunday had scored a combined 23 points on them, but New Orleans had 34 by halftime.
Noteworthy
Drew Brees, who went two straight weeks without a TD pass, reclaimed the league lead with his four on Sunday and now has 14 on the year. ... Saints RB Mike Bell came back after missing two games with a knee injury and scored his second touchdown of the season. ... In his first game in his hometown, Eli Manning threw for 178 yards, a touchdown and had an interception.
