Brandon Jacobs scored on a 2-yard touchdown plunge in overtime. John Kasay missed a 50-yard field goal that would have put the Panthers ahead with just a few seconds left in regulation, but his kick sailed left. Both teams punted on their first possession in overtime before the Giants used their ground game to seal the win.
