Devin Hester ran a nifty stop-and-go move to draw a 38-yard pass interference penalty with the Bears facing a third-and-seven from their own 47 in overtime. Robbie Gould kicked a 35-yard field goal two plays later for the 27-24 win.

Bears kick returner Danieal Manning returned the game's opening kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown. He followed that up with a 52-yard return in the second quarter, which led to another touchdown. After the first half, Manning had more kick return yards (135) than the Bears had total offense on 28 plays (105 yards).
Key stat
The Saints committed five penalties for 97 yards, and none was bigger than the 38-yard pass interference call in overtime. Hester also drew a 39-yard penalty in the second quarter, which led to another touchdown. Hester finished with four catches for 46 yards.
