Chris Johnson broke free on a 16-yard touchdown run, one play after Chris Hope intercepted Peyton Manning for the second time. The score put the Titans up 31-14 with just under four minutes left.

With the Colts stacking the box to slow the Titans' rushing attack, Kerry Collins was called upon to throw more passes than he had all season. He came through by making several clutch third-down throws and his accuracy eventually opened things up for Johnson late.
