Browns CB Eric Wright picked off an Eli Manning pass and outraced the QB down the sidelines for a 94-yard touchdown return in the fourth quarter. Instead of the Giants potentially moving within six points of the Browns, they fell behind by 21 after the two-point conversion and did not have enough time to recover.
Game ball
Plagued by a slow start to the season, Braylon Edwards busted out in a big way Monday night. He set the tone early with a 70-yard catch in the second quarter that set up the Browns' first touchdown and he applied the finishing touches with an 11-yard score in the fourth quarter.
Key stat
The Browns had been averaging a league-worst 211 yards of offense per game, but they gashed what had been the NFC's best defense for 454 yards. That production allowed Cleveland to overcome nine offensive penalties.
