The Eagles tried a hook-and-ladder play on fourth-and-17 from their own 42-yard line with just over a minute remaining. The Cowboys snuffed out the trickery and took over on downs, enabling Tony Romo to end the game on a pair of kneel-downs.

Cowboys WR Terrell Owens only had three receptions in the game, but he made them count. His first catch extended the Cowboys' opening drive that ended with his second catch -- a 72-yard touchdown. His third reception was also for a touchdown, this one of the 4-yard variety.
Key stat
Red-zone efficiency proved to be the difference in this game. Dallas cashed in on all three of its trips inside Philadelphia's 20-yard-line, ending each opportunity with a touchdown. The Eagles, meanwhile, were less successful inside the Cowboys' 20-yard line, scoring touchdowns on only three of their five forays into the red zone.
