San Francisco kicker Joe Nedney made the most of his second chance, nailing a 40-yard field goal in overtime for the win. Nedney missed from 41 yards out at the end of regulation.

Niners LB Patrick Willis turned the momentum at the start of the second half. The Seahawks were threatening to score when Willis picked off a Matt Hasselbeck pass and returned it 86 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 20. From that point on, the 49ers were a different team.
Key stat
Veteran 49ers receiver Isaac Bruce, one of offensive coordinator Mike Martz's favorites when both were with the Rams, became the first San Francisco wideout to have 100 yards receiving since Antonio Bryant did so in Week 2 of the 2006 season. Bruce finished with 153 receiving yards on four catches and set up the 49ers' winning field goal with a key 33-yard catch on third-and-7 in overtime.

Nedney's missed 41-yard field goal was his first inside 50 yards since Week 11 of the 2006 season. He had made 33 in a row. ... Going into the game, sixth-year 49ers QB J.T.
