Braylon Edwards needs two more TD receptions to tie the Browns' franchise record.

It was over when ...
Jamal Lewis muscled his way into the end zone from the 1-yard line, capping a four-play, 30-yard drive that put the Browns up 27-10 in the fourth quarter. The Texans got a late score to bring them within 10, but the Browns recovered the onside kick and picked up a first down to run out the clock to win for the fifth time in six games.

Game balls
The Browns' last-ranked defense shut down Matt Schaub and the Texans. Rookie CB Brandon McDonald held WR Andre Johnson, who has picked up at least 120 yards receiving in each of the three games he has played in this season, to 37 yards on three receptions. McDonald made key plays on special teams and his interception in the fourth quarter set up Lewis' touchdown run.

Key stat
The Browns have lived by the big play this season, and against the Texans, Derek Anderson hit three receivers for plays of at least 20 yards. Anderson completed 24 of 35 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Lewis, who finished with 134 yards and one TD on 29 carries, had his first 100-yard game since Week 2.

Noteworthy
Anderson has 22 TD passes on the season, the most for a Browns QB since Bernie Kosar had 22 in 1987. ... Braylon Edwards has 11 TD receptions. The last Browns receiver with more than 10 was Gary Collins in 1969 (the team record is 13, by Collins in 1963).
