The Colts capitalized on the turnover as kicker Adam Vinatieri sent a 24-yarder through the uprights to put the Colts up, 31-13. Payton Manning had much to be thankful for in his second Turkey Day start. With his second-quarter TD pass to Reggie Wayne, Manning surpassed Warren Moon (291) for the fifth-most touchdown passes in NFL history. His 22-for-32, 272 yard performance also puts Manning in 10th place on the all-time passing yards list, supplanting Colts great Johnny Unitas. Manning also notched his 101st win, which ties him with Jim Kelly for ninth all-time.
