On the ground or through the air, Tony Romo did it all on Sunday.

It was over when ...
Tony Romo had a snap go over his head, but instead of falling on the ball, he scooped it up and raced 37 yards for a first down late in the second quarter. The drive ended with a 15-yard touchdown run by Romo, giving Dallas a 14-7 halftime lead it never relinquished.

Game balls
Patrick Crayton, called on in the wake of Terry Glenn's injury, had a career day with seven receptions for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Key stat
St. Louis has had 30 consecutive drives without a touchdown.

Noteworthy

St. Louis also suffered a pair of defensive injuries to linebacker Roonall Smith (knee) and Corey Chavous (shoulder).
