Packers LB Nick Barnett intercepted Philip Rivers' pass, intended for LaDainian Tomlinson, at the Green Bay 40 and returned it to the 2-yard line to set up the Packers' second score in a span of 56 seconds. The first came when Brett Favre tied Dan Marino's touchdown mark with a 57-yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings for the go-ahead score with just over two minutes remaining.
Game balls
Hard to argue with Favre as the hero. But give credit to the Packers' offensive line, which gave Favre a lot of time in the pocket to pass for 369 yards and three touchdowns. Favre was sacked only two times. ... Chargers Pro Bowl tight end Antonio Gates left the game in the first quarter after an apparent hand injury. Gates returned shortly thereafter and finished with 11 receptions for 113 yards.
Key stat
Tomlinson finished with 62 rushing yards and has yet to top 100 this season. Last year, Tomlinson failed to reach 100 rushing yards in five of his first six games, including in five straight after rushing for 131 yards in the season opener. Tomlinson must be frustrated with the offense after three weeks, and you wonder if he's going to become vocal with his displeasure.

Favre had his second consecutive three touchdown game, his 60th career game with three touchdowns. This also was Favre's 38th career game winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime. ... Chargers QB Philip Rivers was 16-of-17 for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the first half, including 15 straight completions to open the game. Rivers tied Dan Fouts' team record for consecutive completions. ... The Packers are 3-0 for the first time since 2001.
