Tom Brady admitted Wednesday what seemed apparent in his previous media outings this week: He's battling a cold.
"I've had it for four or five days. My kids got sick and my wife is pretty sick right now. I brought it unfortunately to Phoenix but I'll be fine. I'll be good. I'll be 100 percent. I'm not worried about it at all."
Brady's secret weapon in his battle also should fend off vampires.
"It's been lingering, so I'm just trying to get some rest. A lot of garlic, old remedies, everything I can," Brady said.
Perhaps the cold has given Brady even more time to stay indoors and watch Seahawks tape. He said he feels he has watched more film of Seattle than he ever has for a game in his life.
"I feel like I know these guys pretty well. I know how they play. I got a lot of respect for the way they play and they got good players and a great scheme and they got very good coaching."
In short: We'd expect plenty of yards from New England even if there aren't plenty of points.
