Coach Doug Pederson told reporters he's "hoping" the wideout will play on Thursday against the Green Bay Packers.
Jeffery left Week 2's game with a calf injury and missed practice all last week.
The Eagles listed him as limited in practice today, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported. There wasn't a practice so it's basically a projection, he added.
Cornerback Ronald Darby, who injured his hamstring on Sunday, is expected to miss some time following his MRI, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed. He'll likely miss a few games, Rapoport added.

Massie is dealing with vertigo, Garafolo reported, per sources informed. It's unclear when it popped up today, Garafolo added.
Kicker Eddy Pineiro, who was questionable with a knee injury, is slated to play.
The Washington Redskins have announced the following inactives for Monday night's game: QB Colt McCoy, CB Quinton Dunbar, LB Cassanova McKinzy, C Ross Pierschbacher, G Wes Martin, DL T.Y. McGill and TE Jordan Reed.
- New York Jets coach Adam Gase said quarterback Sam Darnold (mono) has not been medically cleared yet but can start doing cardio. Darnold went through tests Monday and will undergo further testing, per Gase. The QB said per the team's site that the next step is for his spleen enlargement to go down. He's seen progress but it's not quite where it needs to be. Darnold will visit with doctors next Monday.
Linebacker C.J. Mosley (groin), defensive lineman Quinnen Williams (ankle) and receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring/knee) are all trending in the right direction for the Eagles game, added Gase.
- Indianapolis Colts safety Malik Hooker is set to undergo surgery Tuesday to trim his meniscus and likely will miss four to six weeks, Rapoport reported. Coach Frank Reich told reporters during a conference call Monday that Hooker will "miss a little bit of time" but it does not appear he will be placed on injured reserve at this time.
- Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Harrison Phillips, a key part of their depth on defense, suffered an ACL tear and is out for the rest of the 2019 season, the team announced Monday.
- New England Patriots fullback James Develin has been placed on IR with a neck injury, the team confirmed.
Kyle Shanahan announced that RB Tevin Coleman (ankle) has a good chance to be back next week. He has been inactive for the last two games after getting injured against the Bucs in Week 1. Shanahan also noted that CB Ahkello Witherspoon has a foot sprain is expected to miss at least a month.
Pete Carroll said the team hopes to have Rashaad Penny (hamstring) back at practice Thursday. He was inactive in Week 3. Carroll also mentioned that tackle Duane Brown has "a little bit of a strain" in his bicep and will be limited during the week but is expected to play in Week 4.
