Redskins reach terms with 6th-round pick Brennan

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -The Washington Redskins agreed to terms with sixth-round draft pick Colt Brennan on Monday.

The Heisman Trophy finalist from Hawaii will compete for the No. 3 quarterback job behind Jason Cambpell and Todd Collins when the Redskins open training camp Sunday.

Last year, Brennan threw for 4,343 yards and 38 touchdowns with 17 interceptions to lead Hawaii to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the Sugar Bowl.

The Redskins have signed or agreed to terms with eight of their 10 draft picks. Second-round picks Devin Thomas of Michigan State and tight end Fred Davis of Southern California remain unsigned.
