Which Dallas wideout stands up: The Cowboys have Roy E. Williams entrenched as their No. 1 receiver, but the second and third spots are up for grabs. Patrick Crayton has been a starter for most of the past two years, but if Sam Hurd or Miles Austin has an exceptional preseason, they could claim the role, with Crayton moving to the slot.

Wade Phillips calling the defense: In the offseason, Phillips decided to do away with the defensive coordinator position and take on those duties himself. The Cowboys struggled on defense in their preseason opener and will be looking to rebound vs. the Titans.

Vince Young's weekly audition: In the Hall of Fame Game, Young had an inconsistent performance and rumors started to fly that he could lose the backup job to Patrick Ramsey. He played much better against the Bucs this past week and if he can build on that effort, he will be closer to ensuring he remains the Titans top reserve quarterback.
