Quick take: Raiders block Browns rally

It was over when ...
The Raiders blocked Phil Dawson's 40-yard field goal attempt with three seconds remaining.

Game balls
LaMont Jordan ran for 121 yards and one touchdown on 29 carries. In the fourth quarter, facing third-and-23, Jordan took a screen pass for 27 yards and kept alive an Oakland drive that ultimately produced a field goal.

Key stat
The Browns fell into a 16-0 hole early and were only 1-for-11 on third-down conversions until the fourth quarter. Cleveland racked up 27 points in the first half last week, but this week they couldn't score until after the two-minute warning in the second quarter, and that came on a 99-yard kick return and a quick field goal after recovering a Raiders fumble.

Noteworthy
The win snaps Oakland's franchise-record 11-game losing streak. ... Oakland backup QB Duante Culpepper started the second half and played the rest of the game for Josh McCown who left with an injured foot. Culpepper finished 8 of 14 for 118 yards.
