NFL fantasy football: Week 9 trade tracker

Howdy. I have Tom Brady and Matt Ryan at quarterback. I want to upgrade my wide receiver position. Should I trade Brady and Julio Jones for Ben Roethlisberger and Percy Harvin?- @scole8605

Money: Percy will end up as a top five player at the position by the end of the season, and that might be why you make the deal. But there is no reason to take a step back at the quarterback spot by giving up Brady for Big Ben. I would imagine after the big week Julio Jones just posted, you can get Harvin straight up for Jones, and that's a deal I like.

Money: Go player by player in this one to determine if you're coming out ahead. Nicks versus Calvin Johnson, I take Calvin because at least he isn't hurt. Colston versus Moss, you have to lean Colston, especially in that offense. Richardson for Reggie Bush, clearly you win there, and Donald Brown for Matt Stafford, who I think will begin to get right here isn't even worth a conversation. This is a straight up heist, do it before it gets pulled, and hope your league doesn't rule it as voidable.

Would you trade Eric Decker, Brandon Lloyd and Donald Brown for Jordy Nelson and Jeremy Maclin?- @NickC444

Money: Absolutely not. While I love what Jordy has been doing as of late (before the injury) and it appears the Green Bay offense is starting to get back to looking like what we expect it to, I'd rather have Decker for the remainder of the season. Furthermore, I figure Lloyd will start to look more like the two-touchdown Lloyd we saw in the UK as the Pats start that playoff push. Brown and Maclin are flex plays at best, so stick with the hand you've been dealt.

Would you trade Stevan Ridley for Jamaal Charles in a PPR league?- @G_Ryan_

Money: Charles unquestionably has the higher upside, but why dump a player that clearly is a major part of a prolific offense, is getting the carries, and has produced every time he's been featured? You're chasing the name and the draft status of Charles with this deal, and it would be a grave mistake. Be happy you got the value where you did with Ridley, and roll with him.

Should I give up Andrew Luck to get Matt Forte? It's a one-quarterback league and I have Matt Ryan. I need a second running back, since I have Arian Foster as my No. 1.- @Misterlunacris

Money: Yes, absolutely make that deal. You're not going to get much more for Luck, and you'll never start Luck over Ryan the rest of this season. Why not pick up a legit No. 2/flex player at the RB. As for Matt Forte moving forward, what I saw in person at Soldier Field this past weekend leads me to believe the Bears are going to start using him more as the weather becomes more and more inclement.
