The 2018 Patriots went 11-5 en route to their sixth Super Bowl title this century. Tom Brady, at age 41, threw for 4,355 yards and 29 passing touchdowns. Running back Sony Michel became the third Patriots rookie to average 70+ rush yards per game in a season. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore joined Brady as New England's only 2018 Pro Bowl selections. The Patriots went undefeated at home (8-0) but lost five of eight road games. Despite their road woes, New England outscored the NFL’s best offense, the Chiefs, 37-31 in the AFC Championship game at Kansas City, and held the NFC’s top offensive team, the Rams, to a field goal in the Patriots’ 13-3 Super Bowl victory.

White, who spent some of his childhood in Massachusetts, is a huge Patriots fan. During their games, he wears all their gear, nestles himself into a chair, and enjoys “talking smack” with his friends and other fans. In February 2017, he traveled to Houston with his family and watched the Patriots’ big comeback win over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
