Green Bay Packers

"We were rolling." - Kevin Greene

The 2011 Green Bay Packers, who went 15-1 in the regular season, are the only NFL team not to advance past the Divisional round. The Packers led the NFL in scoring, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers – who had 4,643 passing yards and 45 touchdowns, won league MVP. His favorite receiver was Jordy Nelson, who ranked third in the league with 15 receiving touchdowns. The Mike McCarthy-coached Packers won their first 13 games and had home-field in the NFC playoffs. But playing the 9-7 Giants in the NFC Divisional Round, Green Bay’s defense was picked apart by Eli Manning and Hakeem Nicks – and the Packers lost, 37-20. The Packers’ defense included Pro Bowlers Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews, but it was ranked 19th in scoring defense – and that defense ultimately did the Packers in.
