Tough road games define schedule

Deshaun Watson and the Texans will have a long road to another AFC South title in 2019 as they'll have showdowns with each and every squad that joined them in the AFC playoffs last season. After beginning the season at New Orleans on Monday night, they'll be at the Chargers on Sept. 22, at the Chiefs on Oct. 13, at the Colts on Oct. 20, at the Ravens on Nov. 17 and finally at home against the Patriots on Dec. 1, with their second game against the Colts sandwiched between on Thursday, Nov. 21.

In week 16, three of five possible matchups currently listed as TBD will be scheduled for Saturday on NFL Network: Houston at Tampa Bay, Buffalo at New England, Detroit at Denver, Oakland at LA Chargers, and San Francisco at LA Rams. Start times and Saturday games for week 16 will be announced no later than following week 8, with the non-Saturday games to be played on Sunday.
