What you need to know about Friday's injury report

Kelvin Benjamin returned to practice after missing the previous two days due to a concussion.

According to multiplebeatreporters, the rookie receiver wore his helmet and took part in all the pass-catching drills with the rest of his position group during the portion of practice open to the media. Benjamin was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Benjamin is still in the concussion protocol and while he's encouraged by the progress the rookie has made, his status for Sunday ultimately remains in the hands of team doctors. The Panthers listed Benjamin as questionable for their game against the Green Bay Packers.

The rookie pass-catcher has been Cam Newton's best target this season. Having him on the field provides Carolina with a completely different dimension, given his ability to stretch defenses and high-point a pass.
