Pats' Ochocinco reportedly flew to Florida to attend dad's funeral

New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco took a flight to South Florida on Friday night for his father's funeral but is expected to return in time for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens, a source told the Boston Herald on Saturday.

The Herald reported that Ochocinco was seen at Boston's Logan International Airport on Friday evening.

Ochocinco tweeted Monday, seeking prayers for his "oldest and youngest brothers," adding that "our father passed this morning."

Ochocinco, who was acquired in a trade from the Cincinnati Bengals before the season, had only 15 catches for 276 yards and one touchdown with the Pats. He was on the field for just one snap in last weekend's 45-10 victory over the Denver Broncos in the AFC divisional playoffs.
