What we learned ...

DeSean Jackson continues to impress: Second-round pick Jackson built off a solid performance last week by recording 7 receptions for 71 yards. He also had a key block in Tony Hunt's 51-yard touchdown run. Jackson did fumble on a punt return, his only blemish of the game.

WR Reggie Brown injured: Jackson could have his role expanded as receiver Reggie Brown left the game early in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.

Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme can take a hit: Delhomme completed 9 of 14 passes for 54 yards, but more importantly, he was able to withstand a big shot to his surgically repaired right arm and remained in the game.

Jonathan Stewart sees limited action: The Panthers first-round pick has been slowed in his attempt to win the starting job from DeAngelo Williams because of a toe injury. Stewart rushed four times for only three yards.
