Quick take: Saints (4-5) at Texans (4-5)

Last meeting
In September of 2003, Aaron Brooks threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns as the Saints scored 24 unanswered second-half points en route to beating the Texans 31-10.

Streaks
That was the only time the Saints and Texans have met.

Last week
While the Texans were on a bye, the Saints allowed St. Louis 37 points, giving the winless Rams their first victory of the season. The Saints scored 26 fourth-quarter points, but it wasn't enough to overcome one of QB Marc Bulger's best games (302 yards, two touchdowns) and the play of RB Steven Jackson, who ran for one touchdown and passed for another.

At stake
The Texans are trying to stay afloat in the extremely competitive AFC South, while the Saints have a chance to pull even with first place Tampa Bay in the NFC South.

Key matchup:
Texans WR Andre Johnson vs. Saints secondary. The Texans are hoping the return of wide receiver Andre Johnson will give the offense a lift. The Pro Bowl receiver was the NFL's top receiver before going down to a knee injury in Week 2 that forced him out of action for the next seven games. He will face a Saints secondary that is ranked 29th in the league, allowing 251.2 yards per game.

Texans defensive tackle Amobe Okoye leads all AFC rookies with five sacks and surpassed fellow defensive lineman Mario Williams (4½) for the franchise rookie sack record in Week 9.
