Players Association creates branch for ex-players' health

The NFL Players Association made a major move Tuesday. It announced it has created an arm, called The Trust, to help ex-players in a variety of ways, The Associated Press reported.

The NFL already has its Player Engagement department, which helps former and current players with services ranging from mental health care to financial planning.

The Cleveland Clinic's brain trauma center in Las Vegas will be part of The Trust, teaming with the NFLPA to assess the brain health of retired NFL athletes, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
