Such is life for a millennial wide receiver who came of age during one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history. For the record, we're loosely associating Bill Belichick's last 15 years as one prolonged dynasty considering they've only missed the playoffs three times in that span, once when they were 11-5.
Kids of that era will always look at New England as the golden standard, but Beckham is in the unique position of playing for their only kryptonite over the years -- The Giants.
"I've loved-hated the Patriots for a long time. I respect everything that they've done and everything they do year in and year out as far as being one of the top teams in the league. They get the job done, they win championships. But on the other end, they've beaten all the teams that I like."
He added: "You hate them because nobody was really beating them and you love them because no matter what they go through, even what they've gone through this year to see how they've come out, they play football. There's something about it I admire. But it's still one of my least-favorite favorite teams of all time."
Ah, kids these days.
