NFL Week 13 bold predictions: Patriots duo reaches new heights; 49ers shut down Myles Garrett

Drake Maye blows past career high in prolific passing day.

I missed big last week with the Patriots' rushing total against Cincinnati, so I’m back for redemption. This time, we’re trusting in Maye's arm. The sensational young MVP candidate still hasn’t thrown for 300 yards in a game in his career, but that drought ends Monday night. Maye will leapfrog 300 entirely and throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns in a surprisingly close prime-time duel with the Giants.

Myles Garrett doesn't record a single sack against 49ers.

Garrett is on an absolute tear. He leads the league with 18 sacks, and 13(!) of those have come in his last four games. This puts him on a 17-game pace for 28 sacks, which would shatter the NFL record of 22.5 (shared by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt). But on Sunday, the Browns superstar will go up against 11-time Pro Bowl LT Trent Williams, who held Garrett without a sack in their one previous meeting in Week 6 of 2023. Williams and the 49ers' O-line do it again, preventing Garrett from notching a single sack.

Josh Allen rebounds with another six-touchdown outing.

Allen and the Bills' offense mightily struggled against the Texans last week. Allen didn't log a touchdown for the first time since Week 2. He gets back on track this week by posting six total scores -- for the second time in three games! -- to lead Buffalo to a win over Pittsburgh. 

TreVeyon Henderson runs for 150 yards and two TDs. 

Henderson has taken over the Patriots' backfield and will prove why in a prime-time tilt against the Giants on Monday night. He runs wild on a New York defense with a new coordinator (Charlie Bullen). Big Blue has yielded the most rush yards and second-most explosive runs this season. Henderson hits a long one for a score to go along with a goal-line TD plunge. To top it all off, the rookie posts a career-best 150 yards on the ground.

Bo Nix rewards his fantasy managers.

If you listen to the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast, you know that we’re all Bo-lievers. Nix has been a boon for fantasy managers, even if it hasn’t always been consistent. This week, however, the arrow is pointing up against the Commanders. Five times this season, Washington has allowed a QB to throw three or more touchdown passes. Look for the streaky Nix to grow that number to six.
