NFL.com analysts provide one bold prediction for Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season, from fantasy forecasts to team-based takes.
Patriots gash Bengals on the ground to enter rarefied air.
In the Super Bowl era, there have only been two games in which a team rushed for 400-plus yards. Both involved the Cincinnati Bengals -- the Broncos did it against the Bengals in Week 8 of the 2000 season, and the Bengals did it against the Ravens in Week 17 of 2020. Let’s make it three. In a blowout win on Sunday, TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Drake Maye and Co. will top 400 rushing yards (and four touchdowns) against Cincinnati.
Five Lions will score a TD against the Giants.
The Lions offense was on the struggle bus last week. This week, they get to play at home against a Giants defense that has given up touchdowns like it was holding a Black Friday sale. Big Blue has allowed the seventh-most passing touchdowns and the second-most rushing scores. If you have a Lion, this is absolutely the week to make sure they’re in your fantasy lineup.
Vic Fangio's defense holds opponent to single-digit points for third straight week.
The Cowboys have one of the NFL's best scoring offenses, ranking second in that category, with Dak Prescott playing some of the best football of his career -- but much of that success has come against lesser competition. Of their five 30-point games this season, four were against teams with losing records, which also happen to be the four games Dallas has won this season. This week, the Cowboys run into a stingy Eagles defense. Philly has held consecutive opponents to single-digit points and will do it again Sunday.
Christian McCaffrey scores a rushing, catching AND passing TD in first game against former team.
It's never a surprise when CMC runs for a touchdown -- or when he catches a pass in the end zone. Is it a shock when he throws one? Not really. Half of his career pass attempts have gone for a touchdown. What about accomplishing all three tasks in one game? Well, that should raise an eyebrow, considering it's only been done by five players since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, including McCaffrey himself, against the Rams in 2022, in his second game since being traded from the Panthers to the 49ers. On Sunday, he'll face the team that drafted him for the first time in his career -- and he goes all out, becoming the first player to repeat the feat.
Defenses combine for six takeaways in Bears-Steelers meeting.
The Bears and Steelers defenses are two of the best units at creating turnovers in 2025. Chicago ranks first with 22 takeaways on the season, while Pittsburgh sits tied for third with 18. When these teams take the field Sunday in Chicago, the chaos continues, with each unit forcing three turnovers.
