• LB J.J. Russell, who was taken to a local hospital after a hard collision with S Kitan Crawford at practice Thursday, had all his tests come back negative, the Cardinals announced Thursday evening, adding that he was released from the hospital and re-joined the team at camp. Russell was placed on a backboard and carted off the practice field following the collision with Crawford, team reporter Darren Urban reported. Russell was then taken to the hospital for further evaluation, the team then announced in a statement. "JJ Russell is being evaluated for a head and neck injury suffered in this afternoon's practice," the statement read. "He was alert on the field & had movement in all his extremities. He has been taken to a local hospital for further testing & continued evaluation."
