DB Vaughn returns to Colts, Brooks waived

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts re-signed defensive back Chip Vaughn and waived receiver Chris Brooks on Tuesday.

Vaughn was waived last weekend when the Colts activated Brooks for Sunday's game against Cincinnati. The Colts' receiving corps has been depleted by injuries to Anthony Gonzalez and Austin Collie as well as tight ends Dallas Clark and Brody Eldridge.

The Colts also said defensive back Bob Sanders will miss this week's game at New England as he continues to rehabilitate from surgery to repair a torn biceps muscle in his right arm. Sanders isn't expected to return until early December.
