Cardinals and Jaguars square off in rare meeting

Last meeting
Derrick Wimbush returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown to help the Jaguars fend off the Cardinals, 24-17, in Week 12 of the 2005 season.

Streaks
These two teams have only met twice. Jacksonville has won both times.

Last week
The Jaguars kept it close against the Colts, but could not make enough plays in a 14-12 loss. ... Arizona's offense was unable to get going as the Cardinalslost 20-16 to the 49ers.

Keep your eye on ...
Troy Williamson's readiness: A sterling preseason gave Jacksonville hope that the former No. 7 overall pick from the 2005 NFL Draft had finally reached his potential. In Week 1, however, Williamson was a non-factor, catching only one pass for 10 yards. The Jaguars will need more production from him against a solid Cardinals secondary.

Anquan Boldin's health: Arizona's Pro Bowl wide receiver nearly missed last week with a hamstring injury. While he played, he was ineffective and finished with just two catches for 19 yards. If Boldin is slowed, it makes it easier for defenses to double-team Larry Fitzgerald on the other side and hinder the offense.

Arizona's adjustment to East Coast time: The Cardinals lost in all five of their regular-season trips across country last year. They did travel to Carolina and beat the Panthers in the playoffs, but questions remain about Arizona's ability to win consistently on the East Coast.
