Browns without starting RT Pashos in opener vs. Bengals

CLEVELAND -- Browns starting right tackle Tony Pashos didn't play in Sunday's season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals because of a foot injury.

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound Pashos was replaced by Oneil Cousins, claimed last month on waivers from the Baltimore Ravens.

With Pashos out, the Browns were missing two starters up front. Left guard Eric Steinbach recently underwent season-ending back surgery. Rookie Jason Pinkston took his spot on the left side between Pro Bowl tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack.

Pashos played in just six games last season before he was sidelined by an ankle injury.

The Bengals didn't have any notable inactive players.
