Luke Rhodes, Long Snapper

Indianapolis Colts long snapper Luke Rhodes has maintained a longstanding commitment to honoring service members, veterans and their families throughout his NFL career, inspired by the military service of his late father, Doug Rhodes. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Doug served as a U.S. Marine Corps helicopter pilot for 22 years, instilling in Rhodes a deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of military personnel. Throughout his 11 NFL seasons, Rhodes has consistently used his platform to create meaningful experiences for members of the military community. Through the Colts' ticket block program, he has welcomed active-duty service members, veterans and their families to Lucas Oil Stadium, providing opportunities to attend games and connect with the team. Rhodes has also participated in the Colts' Salute to Service Flag Football Tournament, which brought representatives from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center for a day of competition and camaraderie. The event provided an opportunity for Rhodes to engage directly with military personnel while recognizing their service. Beyond team activities, Rhodes has supported INVETs, an Indiana-based nonprofit organization that helps veterans transition to civilian life, through the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative. His involvement has helped highlight the importance of supporting veterans as they navigate life after military service. Through his continued engagement with military families, support for veteran-focused organizations and dedication to honoring his father's legacy, Rhodes has demonstrated a lasting commitment to recognizing those who serve and strengthening the Colts' connection to the military community.
